“Wow, Do not come here expecting typical. This is some of the best flavored Mexican food I've tried in this area of Sacramento. Traditional, fresh veggies and salsas. The carnitas were delicious, sweet and salty. The shrimp taco was literally to die for and was the best shrimp tacos I've had point blank period. Amazingly priced. And actually served with great hospitality. The gentleman and workers here deserve 10 stars on this review for this trip. Will definitely be coming back.”

“We stopped here for lunch while driving back from Tahoe. They offer a wide variety of options, everything is homemade, and the food was prepared pretty quickly. The tacos were very tasty, and the host was pleasant and welcoming. They also have a great salsa stand.”

“WOW! This was my first time here and let me say all the great reviews are valid! The Ceviche Tostada was probably the best I have ever had. Their Panchito fish taco was out of this world food, the street tacos were great and my son's veggie burrito was awesome. They gave us some chips with a small side of beans for each of us and the salsa bar was fantastic with mild and spicy options with fresh cilantro, lime, onions, and more. The spicy avocado salsa was the best and was a great add to the ceviche tostada. The food was served quickly, was fresh and the owners checked in to make sure everything was okay. I can't say enough good things about this place and will definitely be back! Authentic Mexican food with amazing flavor!”

“I had the pleasure of eating at this fine establishment yesterday. My father and I were looking at restaurants in the area and was very impressed with the rating here so we decided to give it a try. The service we received was impeccable and was fairly priced. My father got the wet burrito and I got a carne Asada burrito. As we were eating the owner came to us holding a queso birria taco free of charge. We happily ate it and very much enjoyed our meal. If you haven't tried out this family owned restaurant make sure you do, because this was in my opinion great quality food and service. Will definitely come here in the future.”

“Where to start! First off let me just say this place is fantastic. The food is true authentic Mexican food and not a watered down version to appease the masses. My wife and I dined here early New Years Eve. We were greeted with a warm smile by the kindest gentleman you could ask for in a restaurant owner and host. He took the time to explain to us the type of food he prepares and the origin of the recipes. Now to the food... simply delicious. My wife and I had multiple items and each one was as fresh and delicious as the rest. If you are look for a true taste of Mexico look no further! It's safe to say my wife and I will be back ... again and again. Run ... don't walk ... and give this little place a try. Well done Panchito! Well done!”

“What a great find! Thanks yelpers for the reviews. The woman behind the counter (possibly the owner) said her husband is from Mazatlán so the food is in that style (no mayo or mayonnaise based sauces). We had the taco plate with carnitas, spicy shrimp and chicken tinga AND one PANCHITO QUESADILLA TACO SPICY SHRIMP and two quesabirria tacos. Served with complimentary cup of pork beans, chips and salsa bar. Everything was AMAZING. We also enjoyed agua fresca jamaica and limonada. We are looking forward to our next visit.”

“Wow, I can't believe I haven't made a review about Panchito yet! Their tacos are to die for. Meat super tender and very flavorful, rice, beans, chips, ALL of it YUM! About 6 years ago, I was pregnant with my last child and was at the Maternity ward getting checked up because I had issues with breathing. All was well when they were about to discharge me and my husband promised me we could get Panchito tacos on the way home. It was 40ish minutes before they were to close and Dr comes in and says he wanted to keep me a few more hours for more tests. Boy did I CRY! Dr let me grab my tacos and return - there's nothing like a Panchito taco!”

“We were at the bar next door and had a craving for some tacos. My husband popped over to order so I can't comment on the inside of the establishment but I do know they were gracious enough to bring our food over to us at the bar since we were playing a league game. She even came with extra chips and tons of salsa. She brought like 5 different kinds and all were very good. One however was SUPER spicy, and I like spicy but I was popping ice cubes to cool my mouth down on this one. The tacos were loaded with lots of meat, definitely didn't skimp out on that which is nice. No fatty or chewy pieces and even without salsa, the meat had a good flavor. Next time we play at Scoreboard, I'm for sure ordering from here again.”
